Hello Flippers Families,

Meet availability is now open for the first swim meet which is Saturday May 23rd and will be held in Elmira. It runs from 8am to approximately 2pm. Please indicate whether your swimmer is or is not attending. If your swimmer is attending please select the individual races they would like to compete in. If you’re unsure you can leave a note for the coaches to help with selection.

For those new to Flippers a little info about our swim meet structure. We have two regular meets, swimmers need to participate in one of those two in order to compete at Semi-Finals. This means if you’re unable to attend the Woolwich meet then your swimmer will need to attend the meet in Kincardine on Saturday June 6th in order to be eligible for the Semi-Finals on Saturday June 20th (these are being held in Fergus this year).

At the meets swimmers can choose to swim in 3 individual events and are eligible to swim in 2 team relay events. The relay teams are assigned by the coaches based on a variety of factors like who’s available, and prior times.
